Rantou

Rantō is an archipelago city-state off of the east coast of the continent. Rantō has recently seen generations of bloody war come to an end as the Tōma Clan rose to prominence, uniting the people under one banner. Rantō is a mercantilist society that carefully manages its trade with the outside world. It only takes in raw, simple material items and only exports rare materials and crafts. Their manipulation of the Lyrian marketplace has made them incredibly rich as a result. The average Rantōan peasant typically lives quite comfortably as a result of this success. Recently, Lyrian trade was disrupted and threw the entire island chain into chaos as basic needs could no longer be met as their population had grown well beyond what the island itself can support. Humans and elves live here.
