Serenity

Serenity is a northern city state. The residents of Serenity have trouble explaining, feeling and expressing emotion. As a result, Serenity has leaned into “logic” and has focused on sciences and art with objectivity on their side. This is generally considered a place of learning. It is a popular destination for people who need to sort out problems, either within themselves or others. It has played host to many great debates and negotiations as it is much easier to consider facts fully while here. People born in Serenity have, at times, attempted to leave. This usually goes horribly wrong. Once they get beyond the city and its surrounding area, they suffer horrible mental breaks. Some have been known to simply die or go mad. The lucky ones run home and never try again.
